The PNT2026 Conference, held 4–6 February 2026 at Royal Randwick Racecourse, Sydney, was a great success, bringing together over 250 delegates from industry, government, defence and academia.
Across three days, delegates shared practical insights and research across positioning, navigation and timing technologies, with strong engagement in keynote presentations, technical sessions, panel discussions and the industry exhibition. The popular Sydney Harbour Cruise once again provided an excellent opportunity for networking and collaboration.
PNT2026 continued the long-standing tradition of the IGNSS conference series, now delivered under the banner of the Australian Institute of Navigation (AIN) following the merger of AIN and the IGNSS Association. The conference reinforced its role as a key forum for advancing PNT capability and collaboration across Australia and internationally.

Planning is already underway for the next conference in February 2028 in Sydney, NSW.
